What professional experience do you have?
After receiving my baccalaureate i worked with autistic children ages 2-8 in homes, schools, and the community as a behavior “therapist” for two years (for my explanation on why i no longer endorse ABA and behaviorism, read this blog post).
During my first year of graduate school i provided case management services to low-income older adults, most of whom were experiencing houselessness and mental ill-health.
During my second year i provided crisis services over the phone, in the community, and in a clinic as a short-term therapist.
For the past three years i have provided individual and group counseling, case management, and crisis intervention services in a crisis residential program to TAY and adults ages 18-80 experiencing moderate to severe mental ill-health.
